Pastor’s Blog
This page will be updated weekly to give a brief overview of the message from the latest Sunday. I pray that these small glimpses into our Sunday morning services will motivate you to join us in Fellowship weekly and use to recap if you were unable to attend.

Build the Kingdom
Stone of Help
In 1 Samuel 7, when the Israelites were being attacked by the Philistines, they asked Samuel to cry out to God for deliverance. He Delivered! To remind themselves of the favor God had shown them, they placed a stone and called its name Ebenezer, for he said, “Till now the LORD has helped us.” (1 Samuel 7:12). They made this place an altar to the LORD so they would not forget what He had done for them.
The Israelites were not a perfect people by any means, so that should make them easy to relate with. They often needed to be reminded that God had done great things around them and through them. This is something that we often need to be reminded of as well. God is moving in and around us if we will look for His hand.
How often do you need to be reminded that God is with you and helping you? If you are anything like me, then you probably need reminders constantly. These reminders help you remain steadfast in your faith.
When God brings you a victory, make your own “Ebenezer” to remind yourself of the favor that God has shown you. These will help you lean on Him in good and bad times when the enemy tries to attack and the world tries to drag you down.
