Pastor Search Committee: Asking for continued, heartfelt prayer as a pastoral candidate is being recommended to the church member body for election UPDATE: Lead Pastor Elected ! The PSC has faithfully and obediently screened applicants over the past 22 months and interviewed different candidates. The PSC was faithfully called and unanimously chose to present their chosen nominee for a view of a call for the church body. Sundown church members elected Jon Chavez as the new, lead pastor on Easter Sunday. God is Good and answers prayer in His time!
Sammy Diaz: 2/21/26 He had surgery today and the surgeons did well and so did Sammy! He will stay overnight tonight. The family thanks you for all your prayers and ask for continued, speedy healing!
Madilyn (Juan Partida’s Daughter): UPDATE: 2/11/26 Madi is out of the hospital and at home. Praise the Lord !! Continued prayer is asked for her kidney to be healed and become whole, again! 1/27/26 Madi has been admitted to the hospital and her kidney is not feeling very well at all. Please, pray for God to restore that kidney in His Mighty Name ! UPDATE: Madi is out of the hospital and at home. Praise the Lord !! Madilyn has treatments due to her kidneys and is not feeling well. She needs prayers for God’s healing power over her whole body because these treatments take a lot out of her. Lorienda Comer: Her son said, ”Her surgery went well today and the physician got done what he wanted to. She is in Hope Tower #207 and is recovering.” Thank you all for prayer over her and for her!
